Role
Communications Strategy, Creative Direction, Accessibility Leadership
Overview
The CPPR website redesign was a large-scale effort to improve how a complex research and technical assistance center communicated its work, expertise, and identity online. The project focused on improving navigation, accessibility, messaging, and long-term content sustainability across a growing and evolving team.
The Challenge
As programs and partnerships expanded, the existing website became increasingly difficult to navigate and maintain. The redesign required balancing accessibility expectations, evolving university brand standards, project needs, and complex organizational structure while creating a clearer and more scalable digital experience.
Strategic Approach
The redesign process included content audits, navigation planning, messaging refinement, and accessibility review. Rather than treating the project as a visual refresh alone, the work focused on improving organizational communication through clearer structure, stronger positioning, and more intentional content strategy.
Outcomes
The redesigned website established a clearer and more cohesive digital presence for CPPR, contributing to a 170% year-over-year increase in active users while improving usability, accessibility, and audience engagement.
